This weekend I'll be purchasing a brand new road bike.

I can't wait 

so I figured I'd post about bikes & hashtags.

Welcome to 2011

So long 2010, you were interesting.

 2011 looks exciting,

I'll be speaking at the national Visual Resources Association conference in Minneapolis this Spring,
and am helping to organize a conference this Summer in Santa Barbara (more details on that soon).

Towards the end of 2010 I set up an About.me page
About.me is "A Custom Splash Page and Personal Analytics Dashboard." Very simple yet stylish.

I noticed that I was less active in generating content in 2010 and I'll do my best to post more interesting and relevant news and topics to my blog this year, although don't be surprised if there's a bit of irrelevant or off-topic banter too.

I'll be cleaning out some of the digital cobwebs, deleting unused services & migrating old files. I may even consider some overall redesigns.



I'm looking forward to more bicycle advocacy, volunteering and community rides in 2011. Two of my favorite bicycle related events of 2010 were CicLAvia and San Diego's Bike the Bay.
